Steve was at Forest for twelve years starting as an understudy to Peter Shilton which taught him many valuable goalkeeping lessons.

Affectionately known by the fans as 'one eye' Sutton was a great goalkkeeper who gave some brave performances between the posts for the red's as he went on to make 257 appearances for the club

Finished his career at Grantham Town in 1998 when he then went on to be a coach

Now a part time goalkeeping coach at Forest
