Nigel Bradley Jemson 10/10/1969 NAT: England POS: Striker Previous Clubs: Preston Joined Forest: 24/03/1988 Signing fee: £150.000 from Preston Left Forest: 23/12/1988 loan to Bolton, 15/03/1989 loan to Preston, 17/09/1991, £800.000 to Sheffield Wednesday Nigel was a young striker with a lot of confidence who never really got on at Forest. Jemson famously scored the single winning goal in the 1990 League Cup Final against Oldham. He was a good outlet who held the ball up well and took pressures of the other players well, though he was a striker who if given more chances he might have become one of the best strikers Forest ever had. After retiring from playing Nigel became manager of Ilkeston Town and then assistant manager at Halifax Town FL: 42 + 2, 13g, FLC: 9, 4g, FAC: 3 + 1, 3g, Others: 1 return to previous page |
