Lee joined as an apprentice in 1986 and gained a BSc degree in sports science whilst still playing the game.

Glover was not a prolific goalscorer by any means but he worked hard sometimes trying maybe too hard which affected his confidence before goal. He was present in the side that won the League Cup in 1989

In 2004 he became player manager of Grantham Town and in 2007 was assistant manager at Kings Lynn FC
