Jim was a cultured player who could perform at left back or left midfield, he had deceptive pace and an economic style which made the game look easy.

The Canadian international was an exciting full back with all the attributes required, great pace, an excellent cross and a good shot which should have brought him more goals.

Brennan took advantage of the Bosman ruling joining Norwich in the summer of 2003.
