Although a strong and committed striker Holt never really seemed to settle at Forest

Grant was willing to chase lost causes and created lots of chances for others unselfishly.

Holt finished the 2006-2007 season as Forest's top scorer with 18 goals in all competitions

In the 2007-2008 season Holt bagged a brace against Leyton Orient at the City Ground, the first goal was a stooping header, the second a penalty which he confidently lashed low into the keepers bottom right hand corner

Now a prolific goalscorer for Norwich City in the 2009-2010 season back in League One, he was instrumental in getting them promoted back to the Championship at their first attempt
