David Thomas Prutton 12/09/1981 NAT: England POS: Midfield Previous Clubs: Joined Forest: 01/10/98 and 30/01/2007 Signing fee: Trainee 1998, Loan from Southampton 2007 Left Forest: 31/01/2003, £2.500.000 to Southampton David was a hard running midfielder although he often made ill considered tackles and very rarely found goals although he was another of Hart's talented youth squad that showed such hope at the City Ground. Prutton could play right across the midfield though his best work came from a central area. One of the only shining lights from the Platt era who made his debut against Bristol City in the League Cup tie who when given his chance never looked back. Despite his youth and inexperience Prutton showed little weaknesses other than a lack of goals His hard running was instrumental in Forest's attack and although he had a tendency to make ill considered tackles, other than that he was a real asset for the club. 1998.
