Billy Walker Billy took over from Harry Wightman in 1939 and remains Forest's longest serving manager from 1939 - 1960. Walker was the mastermind behind the 1959 succesful FA Cup campaign where Forest beat Luton Town at Wembley Stadium playing the majority of the game with only ten men after Roy Dwight was stretchered off. return to previous page |
